Ambassador Weert Börner and Dr. Imke Börner paid a courtesy visit to the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and met with Vice Chancellor Dr. Hazri Kifle and Assistant Vice Chancellor Dr. Joyce Teo.
All four had an engaged discussion about the possibilities for increased Bruneian-German cooperation in university education, concerning both students and faculty. Relevant areas range from various disciplines of engineering and environmental/biodiversity studies to energy (esp. solar energy and storage issues) and agriculture.
