On 3rd July 2026, Germany’s high-end automotive giant BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) launched its new “Motorrad Showroom” (Motorbike Showroom) including workshop and accessory shop in Bandar Seri Begawan. BMW, via its Bruneian partner QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, can now offer even better customer services to all Bruneian motorbike fans.

A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of two all-new BMW Motorrad models, the BMW R 1300 touring motorcycle and the BMW R 12 G/S adventure/off-road motorcycle.

German Ambassador Weert Börner congratulated QAF Auto and BMW on the successful launch of this showroom and commended their continued joint investment in strengthening the BMW presence in Brunei Darussalam. BMW, headquartered in Munich, Germany, is currently employing around 125.000 staff around the world and has been standing since more than 100 years for excellence in engineering, innovation and design.
