Recently, Ambassador Weert Börner met with Haji Noor Azri, Acting Director of Agriculture & Agrifood, Ministry of Primary Resources & Tourism (MPRT), and his team to discuss options for enhanced bilateral cooperation in modernizing agricultural value chains.
Germany is not only one of the biggest exporters of agricultural goods, but also one of the globally leading countries in agricultural technology, namely in plant and livestock breeding, food-processing equipment, energy-efficient cooling systems and solar energy-based support for agriculture such as solar-driven water pumps.
Germany is most willing to contribute to the food security of Brunei via business-to-business cooperation.
