The first Bruneian-German business meeting in the new year took place on 12th January 2026 in the German Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. Ambassador Weert Börner received Mr. Thomas Roess, Managing Director of the German family enterprise ROESS Group, as well as Mr. Bernard Chai and Mr. Daryl Chai Wan Xin from the Bruneian engineering company and business partner ATH-CHEVRON to discuss the promotion of “AquaRockBag” in Brunei and the ASEAN region.
