The German Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan celebrated the 33rd Day of German Unity on September 26, 2023 together with the German Community, our Bruneian friends and the Diplomatic Community in Brunei Darussalam.

We were honoured by the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development of Brunei Darussalam and Yang Mulia Datin Fadzlin binti Haji Hashim as Guests of Honour and by the attendance of many representatives of the Government of Brunei Darussalam.

Also present was a guest from far-away: Rear-Admiral Geoffroy d'Andigné, the Commander of the French Armed Forces in the Pacific, based in Papeete, French Polynesia.

The reception gave us the opportunity to highlight the excellent bilateral relations and projects and to show-case an exhibition on energy transition.
