Another business site visit led German Ambassador Weert Börner and Dr. Imke Börner to Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (DA) and Naval Vessels Lürssen (NVL), whose headquarters is in Bremen, Germany.
Muara Maritime Services (MMS) was established in 2018 with the aspiration of becoming a leading commercial entity to support the development of the maritime industry in Brunei Darussalam. As a service provider specialising in vessel maintenance, repair and overhaul, the company is currently employing 280 highly qualified staff, 95% of whom are Bruneians. In just seven years, MMS can already present a chain of remarkable successes including various ship repair improvements and innovations to the benefit of its maritime clients.
